Sophia is an SMS-based AI scheduling assistant. There is no mobile app, no social login, and no dashboard beyond a basic account management page. We do not sell your data. We do not serve ads. Everything we collect exists solely to make the scheduling service work.

1. Information We Collect

  • Your name, U.S. mobile phone number, and time zone
  • Payment information — processed by Stripe; we never store your card number
  • Google OAuth tokens — encrypted at rest; used only to create and read calendar events
  • SMS message content you send to Sophia and our replies
  • Parsed intent data our AI extracts from your messages to fulfill requests
  • Basic account metadata — timestamps, subscription status, last active date

We do not collect location data, contacts, or browsing history.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To respond to your SMS requests
  • To create and read events on your Google Calendar
  • To send reminders you have scheduled
  • To send your daily morning schedule briefing
  • To process and manage your subscription
  • To notify you of account or billing issues

We do not use your message content for advertising or to train AI models.

3. AI Processing

Sophia uses Anthropic's Claude AI to interpret your messages. Your message content is sent to Anthropic's API to generate a response. AI responses may occasionally be inaccurate. Verify important events directly in Google Calendar.

4. Text Messaging

By signing up, you consent to receive automated SMS messages from Sophia including responses to your requests, daily schedule briefings, reminders you have set, and account and billing notifications. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Text STOP to opt out. Text HELP for assistance.

5. Third-Party Service Providers

  • Twilio Inc. — SMS delivery
  • Stripe, Inc. — payment processing
  • Anthropic, PBC — AI message processing
  • Google LLC — Calendar API and OAuth
  • Railway — cloud hosting

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward. You may request deletion at any time by contacting us.

7. Your Privacy Rights

You may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information. California residents have additional rights under the CCPA. We do not sell personal information. Contact us to exercise your rights.

8. Children's Privacy

Sophia is intended for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical safeguards including encryption of OAuth tokens at rest. No system is completely secure. Contact us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised.

10. Changes to This Policy

We will notify you of material changes via SMS before they take effect.
